Before settling in Japan, I called UAE and The Caribbean my home.

Everyday life and motherhood are what drew me deeper into photography. I take a documentary approach, drawn to the raw, the real, and the unstaged.

When I’m not behind the camera, I write on Substack and Medium, enjoy a good book, learn Japanese, ride my bike with my daughter and husband, drink Tully’s salted caramel latte (make sure to try it when you visit Japan), eat cheese or lemon cheesecake, and wake up early to listen to the mourning doves.

Things I don’t love: butter on toast, mayonnaise, cell phones, and scary movies.
